Position: Director, Growth Marketing Department: E-Commerce Reports to: Vice President Direct Reports: Yes FLSA Status: Non-exempt Location: 3880 N Mission Los Angeles, CA 90031 Position Overview: Forever 21’s Digital Growth Marketing Team is responsible for bringing all the pieces of the customer acquisition funnel together. Our goal is to reach and convert our target audience at scale (quickly and cost efficiently) by activating our community, amplifying our brand story and enabling new customers to get great fashion in their budget. We’re looking for a Director, Growth Marketing to build the 360-degree marketing and customer acquisition strategy for Forever 21. The ideal candidate is fearlessly creative, extremely analytical, great in a fast-paced environment and is known for their hustle and ability to execute. Responsibilities: • Define the growth marketing strategy (acquisition and engagement) for our core customer demographic of 18-34 year old females, while also helping grow our additional verticals in Men, Plus and Girls. • Size the market opportunity, set full-funnel KPIs and budgets, and prioritize the marketing levers that will drive customer acquisition and revenue • Lead marketing analytics and ROI analysis for campaigns and channels, defining and tracking CAC and LTV, and executing robust optimization & A/B testing programs • Build, manage and execute full-funnel growth marketing campaigns across all channels and touch points, including search, social, affiliate, influencer marketing, email, guerilla marketing tactics, etc. • Develop a personalized customer journey at all stages of the marketing funnel to drive conversion across the site, LPs, and email/push programs • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to lead an integrated 360-degree marketing process – ensure Paid (FB/IG, Pinterest, SEM), Free (SEO, Organic Social), Earned (influencer, PR, partnerships) & Owned (experiential, blog, email) efforts work together • Collaborate with the Merchandising, Social & Creative teams to build a messaging/creative strategy for campaigns and promotions. Provide oversight and direction into the create strategy, asset needs, and overall project management • Manage all vendors and budgets for all digital marketing programs Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree plus 8-10 years of experience in growth marketing, media and analytics • Fearlessly Creative: You’ve executed large-scale marketing campaigns and have led the process from start to finish. You understand brand strategy, what great creative looks like, and how to work with creative and design teams. You’re as comfortable digging deep into the numbers as you are leading creative partners and teams • Obsessed with Analytics & Problem Solving: You are strong at financial modeling. You can’t wait to spend your afternoon figuring out how to drive down CAC, increase LTV, and dig deep into the data to tell impactful stories, make decisions and align executive stakeholders around your vision • Think strategically, act tactically: You set broader strategic goals, and are able to break down the tactical execution and steps that need to be taken in order to achieve your goals. You get it done and have fun while doing it. You’re resourceful — you know how to take a small budget and make it go far • Cross-Functional Collaborator: You work across teams seamlessly.
